Hello lovelies!
So if you've visited a time or two, you'll know by now that I'm a bit of fashion magpie. Glitter and sparkle are a part of my everyday wardrobe game ... I just can't help it. I'm immediately drawn to anything with glimmer in it and haute couture fashion week is always my favorite, those breath-taking red carpet worthy gowns with heaps of delicious beading and swirling ruffles and softly feathered edges (recently happened so all those beauties are still strutting the catwalk in my mind's eye). I recently popped into a Free People store, usually a place that will take way too much time to get through as I have to touch and inspect every beautiful thing. But this time I was in and out in 5 minutes! No shimmers at all, and I was completely bored. Ha!
Now bringing these magpie tendencies into every day life is not as tricky as you'd think. I'm completely happy to head to coffee in a sparkly something-or-other, cause it's just what makes me happy in the morn. It's not necessarily something as "POW!" as this, but I've got a few coffee shop appropriate goodies. In fact, my go-to shoe for a travel day? Glitter high tops. Yes please! The TSA guy even commented on them as we went through the security line. 😄 One day I'll grow up ... at least I imagine so?
In celebration of all things sparkly (yes, even in March), I thought it was high time for a cozy coffee date with a lovely friend (at her gorgeous home) and this glittering skirt was perfect for the occasion. All it needed was a rockstar tee!
💗 Thank you so much to Erin Jean Photography for these pictures! 💗
band tee - HERE, HERE, HERE (fave!), HERE (kids 13-14 fits like a women's small)
white sneaks - HERE, HERE, HERE (love)
Absolutely love! I always mix my big chiffon maxi skirt with graphic tees.
