Let's start with Christmas Eve day, which we started off at my parent's home to enjoy breakfast and to open presents with that side of the family. And that afternoon, we went to a beautiful Christmas Eve service at Celebration Church. Finally, we headed over to a delicious feast at my sister's home. And then, truly finally, we got everything ready for Santa's arrival that night ... with milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer. And Monty (who is in on our little secret along with his big brother) wrote a note to him to wish him well on his journeys, while the littlest chickens looked on with eye's glowing.
Here are our pics from that first day. :)
Christmas Day!
The kids slept in front of the twinkling tree the evening before, so Santa left their gifts right there by the fire where he'd shimmied himself down. The boys received these awesome sleds (and now we await the snow!) and the little lady received a Jess Brown doll with a matching outfit for her.
The family came over to our home for breakfast that morning and the girls put on their new butterfly costumes which made for some pretty adorable pictures.
That afternoon we went to the other set of grandparents for dinner where we had a visit from Santa himself ... and more presents!
Here we go ....
That buffalo check maxi skirt! Is it vintage? Love! It looks like you all had a wonderful Christmas. Love reading your blog :)
