It's been a little tricky to maintain my regular everyday posting schedule of late but it's a lovely problem to have, so I'm not complaining. I've been awfully busy with all things Christmas actually, taking photo after photo of kids dressed to the nines in their festive fancies. Kinda loving that.
Here's a tiny peek at 2 of the shoots, both for articles that I've written for November holiday issues. Will definitely share these photos in all their glory come November but for now, please enjoy ...

I want to take a moment to thank you, wonderful supporters and followers of this little place (I get a little cringe-y at the word blog, but yes blog). You are a quiet bunch and I completely understand that as I too am a silent reader, rarely ever leaving a comment for my favorite bloggers out there. But I know you are there, liking my posts and pics on Facebook and Insta and occasionally responding to a tweet. Though I admit, I'm terrible with Twitter, so I wouldn't even know how to reply to your reply (though I'm sure I just need to go there and look ... but then I'd have to go there).I may not hear your feedback much over here but I hear it via word of mouth, you know? And as a result, I have had an incredibly fun and busy month of photography, all due to the photos posted here and the families that have come my way over the last couple of years. You guys are so amazing and this little photography business has kept me on my toes of late. Photography is a creative outlet that I love dearly and one that gets me all giddy and silly. When it's not that for me anymore, then I suppose I'll stop. But I am so thankful for your interest in my pictures and for your crazy wonderful feedback. It's awesome.
Please though, if you're ever here and you think of something you might like to say, do so! And if you just can't figure out that silly commenting thing, please like Lovelies in my life on Facebook (click here) and you'll see all posts updated there regularly and perhaps they'll even pop in your feed (but those feeds are a mess aren't they?). I'd love to know if there's anything you particularly enjoy seeing or reading here and want to see more of. Or if you're happy with whatevs, that's cool too.
I continue to write for YOU Magazine and am working on an article for the Green Bay Press Gazette's Home for the Holidays issue (or insert ... unsure). And there are some cool things happening there too which I'll announce officially when it's all official. Full circle back to Christmas and all the gorgeous little people that I will share with you over the next few weeks, dressed in their merry holiday outfits. Yippee! Is it too early for me to have a little Christmas spirit? Uh oh.
Kirsty, It is so obvious that you believe in order to have a beautiful life, you must proactively create a beautiful life. I love the way you celebrate others, the way you make everyday life into a great adventure, and the way you make the most of what you have. You are living proof that it is possible to create a beautiful, full life no matter where you live. You are brilliant and beautiful! I know we have lots of mutual friends as my husband Michael is from Marshfield. Perhaps we will run into each other one day! Keep doing what you're doing. -Betsy Drach
