Happy Friday! I'm so thrilled it's almost the weekend and that I get to spend some quality time with my men again. We don't have any phenomenal plans necessarily but we do hope to see Lorax and there's always the chance that the huz and I will have a date night! But really I think it's the simple fact that the sun is shining and the sky is bright blue, that has me all kinds of giddy right now. We also received a recent hint that little E might have the opportunity to meet the one and only Mickey Mouse this summer! And since little E is not likely to travel anywhere overnight without his mommy and daddy, I think we might all adventure together. Wouldn't that be fun! Also, the huz has firmly decided that he would like to become a pilot and so we're fully immersed in future training plans (his dad is a pilot and has a plane, so it's not too far fetched a dream). His obvious excitement is catching. Big plans, big dreams .... it's a good day.
I thought I'd share another day to night look with you. It's an outfit combination that needs only a couple of additions to carry from comfort - running around town with kids in tow - to sushi night with your man.
The basics here are - a chambray shirt (have to literally talk myself out of wearing this EVERY DAY as it's perfect with everything), colored chinos (huge trend at the moment though these are last summer's version), with the addition of a nude shoe and pink accessories that can switch out depending on the focus of the outfit.
{shirt - J. Crew, purse - Cambridge Satchel Company from Modcloth, pants - American Eagle, belt & shoes - Forever 21}
Speaking of, what's your top color crush for a bright bottom? I've seen just about every rainbow shade in stores right now but have yet to try on anything. Weirdly enough, I think I may be most interested in a yellow (example here).
And for a date night, I thought I'd add a blazer and heels.
{jacket - Forever 21, necklace - American Eagle (painted), heels - Nine West}
Winner to be revealed soon!
I think I'd have to try a few colors on but a few that interest me thinking about them are red and lavender.
