The start of a brand new week and we're back to the grind. Not a horribly bad thing, kids back to school and all, though I had such a blast with them over our mini break and I will miss our lounging about. The holidays really do get you on a high, don't they? So much whimsy and magic, happiness and laughter, with an occasional case of the giddys.
Case.and.point
On New Year's Eve, the huz and I went out to dinner with our other favorite eating-out couple (see Chicago post for more food adventures). Seems my sisters are best for skinnering (only my SA buds will get me on this one), filling bellies with fine delicacies and clothing those fine bellies in pretty things.
My final outfit choice for NYE dinner on the left, though I did consider adding my fairy crown on the right. It was a Christmas gift from little sis. Isn't it stunning?

Toasting the day with some sparkling grape juice.
Finally decided on what to do with my instagram prints and took a few minutes to create a new head board for our bed.
Quiet time.
