A home made sling for a boy with a pretend broken thumb who plays so hard that he falls asleep at the drop of a hat.
Hours upon hours spent at divine restaurants. Meals that ended in moments like these below ...
An evening blushing with pride as your first grader sings his heart out (and with proper choir-boy form too!).
A hike around the botanical garden's magical lights, with horses drawn wagons passing by (eye to eye with a giant horse for the first time for one little e), carolers, Santa, and trains carrying candy. Pretty perfect for our little men.
We love Christmas!
When in Chicago, I announced to my little sister that for this week, while she is in town, we should celebrate the 7 days of Christmas. For us, this would be a Christmas activity each day (I'd do the same for the kids). So on Sunday, day 1, we went to see the lights. On day 2 we watched Love Actually. Today ... holiday bowling perhaps? :)
