This is the one and only time I will endorse green and gold as a personal outfit color combo, as it's one I tend to resist due to this town's obsession with it! But I loved the mustard-y bronze of this sweater and the fun colors in these shoes, enough in fact, to wear them together. Full disclosure - I didn't realize the obvious message of my color palette until I found myself checking out at a gas station, staring at the table filled with green and gold paraphernalia. Then it hit me! But I think I'm going to just say that this pairing was olive and bronze instead ...
This sort of reminds me of another occasion when I wore an entirely green outfit to church (I color I happen to love dearly!) and a 12 year old asked me if it was in honor of St. Patrick's Day, which it just so happened to be. It's amazing how one can keep themselves "together" when they're realized something extraordinarily (but not in the good way) funny about themselves.
My mom recently gave me this feather brooch and I've found all sorts of lovely ways to accessorize with it. She originally attached it to a scarf (seen here) that she made for me but it's since been on a hat and a nudged up next to a bun in my hair.
{hat - T J Maxx, feather brooch - gift from mom, sweater, jeans & sneakers (only $5!) - Forever 21}
So proud of you for overcoming! LOL! I wore purple to the Packer game on Monday night and got lots of LOOKS!:-)
