What I'm Up To Today

On this Wednesday morning I'm clearing the dining table of all it's frills (and breakfast bowls) and loading it with project supplies. I know I said I was hoping to relax a bit today, but I think I may need to tackle a few pages of the boy's scrapbooks (just need to catch up on this new year - so not too bad). I actually enjoy a bit of scrap booking, though I'm no pro! I make them pretty simple (pretty papers, stickers, photos, kid's art and school papers, etc.) and I use them to journal the big moments or stepping stones in their little lives. 

So that's what I'm up to this morning and it's got me thinking that while I really don't mind using the dining table as a makeshift office space (it's where my laptop almost always resides), having a little spot that I could "my own" and some lovely office furniture where I could put all the art supplies, scrap booking goodies and my very busy laptop, would be such a sweet little bonus. Ah well ... maybe in my dream home 20 years down the road. ;)

I was given this cute pad of Sukie iron ons as a gift and I'm hoping to do my first little project soon (pillow cases for the boy's beds). They are the most adorable images you've ever seen so I can't wait to start ironing them onto everything! Will be sure to share some "after" pics.
