Winter White (Revisited)

There's something I just love about wearing a white dress in the winter, layering it with black tights and a jacket (strangely, this one feels much more white in person). I've done this on several occasions now and tried another look with that same color inspiration yesterday, but with a punch of something else in the mix. The sparkle, of course!

This dress is one I've had for a while but it's still a favorite find from the Lauren Conrad for Kohls line. The vest is reworked, originally a long sleeve, poofy shouldered little number and a great find at Goodwill several years ago! I thought it was so gorgeous when I spotted it on the Halloween rack but I had to do a bit of altering to make it work. I thought I'd layer it with the blazer on top; just that hint of sparkle underneath.
