I had a really cool request from a wonderful friend, asking if I could help her come up with a few cute ideas for her little lady's first birthday party. Little Layla turns 1 in October (just like Elliot!) and her mom thinks she'd love to celebrate with a faerie party, perfect for her tiny girl. I thought I should head straight to Etsy for some fun ideas. A faerie party in October would be so lovely with a fluffy tutu to add to the whimsy, lovely pompoms in gorgeous warm autumn colors, and sweet cupcake toppers in a orange sherbet star print. Don't you agree?

I have a long, long list of favorites at Etsy but edited them down to a few top faves today. I still love these yarn wreaths in their vibrant colors with the sweetest felt flowers and other little odds and ends. I have to get one of these for my front door! (The second one is just unbelievable)

And one of my go-to granny chic bloggers has an etsy store that is rarely stocked simply because her goodies are snatched up so fast. She has this gorgeous vintage fabric and crocheted bunting that I am itching to grab. Oh, what to do...

And of course, with little E's party around the corner, I've had a look around the tiny man categories. Here are a few items that would be perfect at our party.

Fabric tape for invites or gift bags. So, so sweet. The party is just 2 weeks away and I can't wait to make my final decisions!

Here's a hint at our party's inspiration. Little E will be having a tiny party with a touch of little man details. Hee hee. Should be quite cool... you'll see.
hello! aww, just saw that you included my toppers in your post from the site "socialmention" - thank you *so* much! :)
